SNHC AND SNIA TEAM UP TO PROMOTE SHAW AT TOWER GROVE FARMERS MARKET

The Shaw Neighborhood Housing Corporation and the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association teamed up this past Saturday, May 5, (http://www.tgmarket.org/) to promote the Shaw neighborhood at the Tower Grove Park Farmers Market. Mayor Francis Slay and Congressman Russ Carnahan stopped by the booth to meet and greet. Apparently both politicians were very familiar with our leadership and the successful housing development in Shaw. The TG Farmers Market is a great venue to introduce residents and prospective residents to Shaw and to explain what both organizations have to offer. It is also another reason why people move to the area.  This is the second year we’ve participated in the TG Farmers Market and 7 more dates (June 9, July 7, Aug 11, Aug 25, Sept 15, Aug 29, and Oct 20) are planned for the future. Please support the Farmers Market and we hope to see you there next time!  Thanks to Stephanie Herbers, Jason Kempf, Ashley Kempf, and Don Burrus for volunteering their time to help.
